Engineering for Resilient Society Research Group (formerly, Research Center for Earthquake Resistant Structure) is an organization for cooperation of researchers in the various fields of civil and structural engineering in the Institute of Industrial Science, The University of Tokyo. Its activities concern with fundamentals of the earthquake/natural disaster resistant structures and specific items in the fields of civil, structural and mechanical engineering for reducing future disaster damage. This page introduces its activities, experimental facilities, ERS bulletins which have been published annually since 1967. All the papers in each ERS bulletin can be accessed from the menu button.
Core members of the center as of 2019 are 7 laboratories below.
